Eric Meeker, DDS is an independent contractor, who maintain his own malpractice insurance, Florida dental license, and all other necessary credentials to practice dentistry. These will be digitally provided upon request, after contract ratification. This consulting firm teaches dentists by knowing & doing. We won’t ask any doctor or staff member to do anything we ourselves can’t (or won’t) do, which is the best proof of our intentions. For these unique & extraordinary services, we expect to be fairly & timely compensated, as our clinical expertise & tools are invaluable.
Struggling practices need these skills to survive against corporate dental & insurance companies, who have much greater clout & resources. For instance, does anyone believe an independent private practice can compete against a corporate giant like Aspen Dental, marketing wise? They’ve got a multi-million dollar budget, what do you have? The point is if you try to compete at their game you will lose, because they have more money and all the influential connections. Dentists must become smarter, and practice better, with greater business efficiency in order to succeed today. Everything in business is cost-benefit, so the question comes down to: can you afford not to hire us?
Fees:
A ‘fly-over consultation’ ($500 fee, usually waived) is minimally necessary to determine your practice’s needs. This forms the basis for a working relationship. This is the only way Rock Star Dental Consulting can give their clients a reasonable estimate for services.
Our fees are customized based on practice needs, length of contract, and location. This firm bases its operations in Marion, Sumpter, Citrus & Lake counties, but is willing to travel anywhere in Florida; with daily, weekly & monthly availability. For all assignments, this firm insists on half the total fee to be paid before starting, with the remaining half due at contract midterm. Short-term assignments (1 week or less) need to be paid-in-full before the contracted consulting begins.

Contract Terms: What makes Rock Star Dental Consulting so unique is it’s broad perspective & skill sets, in such a small team package. We are willing to get our hands dirty to help you take your practice to the next level. We are NOT here to be the primary producers. We will instruct, hands-on when necessary, and then guide the process. It is the responsibility of the client-dentist & staff to be open to constructive criticism and maintain a professional standard in everything. With that spirit of cooperation, we can move your practice upwards, with more career satisfaction & office harmony.
We are not here to hijack anyone’s practice. If the client-dentist lacks a clear vision, then we will be happy to aid in determining one that best fits your office. Note that this is a complex mixture of personality, experience, location, demographics & staff which influences what your practice actually is to people. An outside perspective, with vast wet-gloved industry experience, can be an invaluable asset to everyone from recent graduates with millions of questions; to young professionals now ready to hang their shingle; or to those who are ready to take their existing practices to the next level.
With that said, there are certain boundaries & limitations that must be understood. The first is that your are hiring us for our experience & expertise. The most painful changes that will likely be required are employee terminations. Irrationality, along with toxic personalties, must not be tolerated. Toxic employees must be identified, and then eliminated, as they enable malicious gossip & sabotage, which creates an impossible work environment. Furthermore, all new hires during the course of our agreement must be approved by all parties before being brought on. If needed, advice & systems to attract new talent will be provided. As with everything else discussed, it is the client-dentist’s responsibility to implement these tools, with Rock Star Dental Consulting monitoring as needed to ensure quality control.
